Hi, Students!
I’m teacher Adriana.
As you know,
in Unit 5 we’ve started to use the Past Simple of regular verbs.
Remember: It’s formed by adding “-ed” to the
infinitive.
(ex: worked, loved,
played, cleaned…)
But there
are some verbs that are irregular. That means their Past simple it is not
formed this way and they have an especial form.
There is not
any rule to form their Past tense and the only way to learn them is studying
their respective Pasts.
So, I’ve
thought that we can take profits of this strange situation we’re living and you
can start studying them, little by little, in groups of 15.
IMPORTANT!
Always bear
in mind we are not on holiday.
This
situation should not be an excuse to deviate from our obligations.
We have a
civic responsibility to stay in our homes to ensure the well-being of our communities.
