MATEMÁTICAS: LONGITUD DE LA CIRCUNFERENCIA

Como las circunferencias no se pueden medir con regla porque no son línea recta, sólo podríamos saber su longitud si la cortáramos con una tijera y la pusiésemos en línea recta.

Para averiguarlo, y no tener que “Cortar” todas las circunferencias, vamos a aplicar esta fórmula:

Para resolver los problemas, lo único que tenemos que hacer es sustituir el radio que nos den y colocarlo en la fórmula.

Nota: si nos diesen el diámetro, como el diámetro es el doble del radio, no habría que multiplicarlo por 2

MATEMÁTICAS

Ayer vimos el cálculo de la longitud de la circunferencia que como no podemos medir la línea curva con regla, utilizamos esta fórmula:

Longitud de la circunferencia= diámetro x

Hoy vamos a calcular el perímetro de las figuras planas que es muy fácil porque el perímetro de una figura plana a la suma de las longitudes de sus lados. De este modo, el perímetro de un triángulo cuyos lados miden 5 cm, 6 cm y 10 cm es de 5+6+10=21 cm. Para calcular el perímetro es necesario conocer la longitud de todos los lados de la figura.

Actividades:

PLÁSTICA: Realización de un tres en raya con pasta de sal

La pasta de sal es una alternativa a la plastilina o al barro de moldear muy económica, puesto que se puede elaborar en casa con productos que se tienen en la cocina, como harina, sal y agua. Este tipo de pasta se puede moldear para crear distintas manualidades, solo hay que tener un poco de imaginación y tiempo.

Necesitarás:

·         Para la masa de la pasta de sal: 3 partes de harina, 1 parte de sal, 1 parte de agua

·         Tabla de madera

·         Bolsa de plástico

·         Recipiente para mezclar

·         Cuchara

·         Recipiente para medir

·         Colorante (opcional)

Pasos a seguir:

Para empezar a hacer nuestra pasta de sal, deberás mezclar las 3 partes de harina y 1 parte de sal con una cuchara en un recipiente amplio. Haz movimientos envolventes y ve añadiendo poco a poco el agua fría.

Continúa mezclando hasta que la pasta de sal no se pegue en las paredes del recipiente. Este tipo de material es perfecto para que elaborar todo tipo de figuras en casa, pero nosotros vamos a hacer figuras para realizar un tres en raya, por lo que debes elegir 2 tipos de los cuales tendrás que hacer tres figuras, por ejemplo, tres círculos y 3 cuadrados o las creaciones que tú quieras. Podrás agregar colorantes para conseguir efectos más divertidos.

Pon un poco de harina encima de la tabla de madera, después coge la masa del recipiente y colócala encima para empezar a trabajarla.

Amasa la pasta de sal durante 10 minutos hasta que la masa se vuelva suave, elástica y tibia al tacto.

Coloca la masa dentro de una bolsa de plástico durante 1 hora para que acabe de coger la consistencia adecuada.

Pasado el tiempo, retira la masa de la bolsa de plástico y ya tendrás tu pasta de sal lista para ser moldeada, troceada y recortada para hacer tus figuras del tres en raya. Recuerda que una vez terminada las figuras debes hornearla para que endurezca durante 2 horas a 100-120º. Después puedes pintarla con temperas si tienes.

Para el tablero puedes usar un cartón o una caja dividida en celdas de 3x3. Si usas una caja puedes usar para guardar las fichas dentro.

Consejos

Cuidado en añadir demasiada agua porque sino la masa se vuelve pegajosa y muy difícil de moldear. Utiliza harina que no sea harina integral. La pasta de sal puede guardarse durante una semana dentro de un recipiente hermético o una bolsa de plástico dentro del frigorífico. Cuando saque la pasta de sal del frigorífico vuelve a amasarla durante unos minutos para que se vuelva otra vez elástica, tibia y moldeable.

La circunferencia

Una circunferencia es una línea curva, cerrada y plana cuyos puntos están a la misma distancia de un punto interior llamado centro.

La circunferencia es plana porque todos sus puntos están en un mismo plano.

Elementos de la circunferencia

Centro punto del interior de la circunferencia tal que la distancia desde él a cualquier punto de la circunferencia es la misma.
Radio es el segmento que une el centro con cualquier punto de la circunferencia.
Diámetro es el segmento que tiene por extremos dos puntos de la circunferencia y que pasa por el centro. El diámetro es el doble del radio. D = 2·R
Cuerda es el segmento que une dos puntos cuales quiera de la circunferencia. La cuerda mayor de una circunferencia es el diámetro.
Arco parte de la circunferencia comprendida entre dos puntos.
Semicircunferencia es cada una de las partes en que un diámetro divide a una circunferencia, es decir, media circunferencia.

El círculo

El círculo es la superficie del plano limitada por la circunferencia.

Es decir, está formado por todos los puntos de la circunferencia y todos los puntos del plano en su interior.

Elementos del círculo:

Semicírculo: una de las dos partes iguales que delimita un diámetro.
Sector circular: es la parte del círculo comprendida entre dos radios y su arco.
Segmento circular: es la parte delimitada por un arco y su cuerda.
Corona circular: es el espacio comprendido entre dos circunferencias con el mismo centro y distinto radio (concéntricas)

Today you´re going to listen and watch a very famous English tale: The Rainbow Fish.

It is a children's picture book drawn and written by author and illustrator, Marcus Pfister, and translated into English by J. Alison James.

The story is about a fish with shiny, multi-colored scales named the Rainbow Fish. One day a small fish asks him if he could have one. The Rainbow Fish refuses in a very rude manner. The other fish (including the little blue fish) are very upset about his behavior and don´t want to play with him anymore.

Feeling upset, he goes to visit the octopus and she gives the Rainbow Fish her advice: He must share his scales with the other fish. Then he might be no longer the most beautiful fish after that, but will discover how to be happy.

When he meets the little blue fish a second time, the Rainbow Fish gives him one of his precious scales and sees the joy of the little fish. With that one shiny scale gone, he immediately feels much better. Very soon the Rainbow Fish is surrounded by other fish requesting scales and he (as the octopus asked of him) shares each of his shiny scales with the others. Soon, all of the fish have a shiny silver scale just like Rainbow Fish.
